This disc is a very eclectic collection of pieces for various ensembles featuring both woodwind and brass instruments, recorded in various places in the USA, plus Holland, Romania and the Czech Republic. The packaging gives only tracklists, performer and recording information, as the booklet is in digitised form on the disc itself, along with the composer biogs, label publicity, some extras and interestingly, the scores. I can't help feeling the latter is a bit of a two-edged sword, but it certainly makes for completeness.

The only piece that is repertoire is the first track, Samuel Barber's 1956 piece Summer Music, here realised by the Solaris Quintet (who are presumably from Ohio since the recording was made there)...
