Peter Fisher is a remarkable guy. I first heard him with an ad hoc group of players at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, in a programme of works by Antonio Vivaldi. I thought then that he was a highly talented musician. For further confirmation I heard him in a special recital at Wigmore Hall, built around virtuoso composers from a past era and realized his marvellous versatility...
