Robert Still (1910-1971) was the son of a prominent London lawyer though the family had a keen interest in music.
He attended Eton College and Trinity College, Oxford. Later his several music tutors included Gordon Jacob and Hans Keller. Beside working at composing he spent fifteen years as a careers adviser for Berkshire Education...
